PowerUp collaborates with resource partners across the Commonwealth to help support businesses from the earliest stages to scalability. Our partners include accelerators, business education, capital providers, chambers of commerce, technical assistance and more. Business Education

It takes knowledge of many areas to launch and scale a business. Business education programs offer courses (both in person and online) on important topics to give you a foundation for success.

Center for Women and Enterprise

The Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) is a nationally known nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people start and grow their businesses. They provides opportunities for women entrepreneurs and women in business to increase professional success, personal growth, and financial independence. CWE also operates the Veterans Business Outreach Center of New England – which focuses on assisting veterans, active duty service members and their families with starting and growing their business.

English for New Bostonians

English for New Bostonians creates opportunities for immigrants to learn English and pursue their educational, economic and civic aspirations. ENB supports over 20 high quality English language learning programs that provide free or very low-cost instruction to immigrants. ENB also works with large and medium sized businesses to offer workplace English classes, and a has a customized ESOL for Immigrant Entrepreneurs (E4IE) Initiative current and aspiring small business owners. E4IE includes a curriculum designed to help business owners improve their English, learn about financing, licensing, marketing etc., and connect with business resources.

English for New Bostonians
