English Works Campaign Annual Convening

We would like to invite you to an exciting, and informed presentation and strategy session about the best ways to support the English language skills acquisition of our immigrant residents and workers. Ninety one organizations, including labor unions, chambers of commerce, private employers, community and workforce development groups, advocacy and philanthropic organizations, as well as ESOL providers, responded to ENB’s survey about challenges and opportunities for the integration of limited English speakers into our communities and workplaces. Please join us on July 11th, to discuss the survey findings, analyzed by the Mauricio Gastón Institute for Latino Community Development and Public Policy/UMass Boston, and help us to determine the best strategies to support immigrants in the workforce and the companies that employ them.We hope this event is of your interest, since there is a clear overlap between our constituencies. Please let us know if you have any questions.
