At Juicygreens, we believe in the healing powers of nutritious plant-based foods. It merges the passions of Mrs. Ammy Lowney, a former Boston public school teacher, and her husband, Dr. Michael Lowney, a family medicine doctor, for healthy living. During medical school, Dr. Lowney could not help but notice the often damaging connection between the typical American diet and health. He also was introduced to another very important connection; the positive and strengthening impact of a plant-based diet on a person body. Mrs. Lowney is carrying her passion for teaching and community development to lead a team that brings delicious and healthy food to Boston. Juicygreens can’t wait to be part of your healthy routine, either by healing and nurturing you with our menu or just simply inspiring you with our message.
We carefully handcraft our cold-press juices and nut milk by using a hydraulic juicer. In our search to bring you the best quality of juice, we compared many juicing methods and machines. We concluded that the best juice in terms of taste, texture, quality, and shelf life, comes from a hydraulic press where the fruits and vegetables have not been exposed to heat and oxidation. Our press beautifully maximizes the amount of vitamins, phytonutrients, and awesome tastes that you will find in each and every sip.
Our priority is to bring you a product that is safe for you and your family. We are proud to say that we only work with vendors that are committed to the integrity and safety of their fruits and vegetables. Our juicing practices are guided by the federal regulation for cold-press juice manufacturing. We monitor every detail involved in the production by keeping logs of our hazard control practices.
We like to say our juice is “kid-tested and physician-approved!” Dr. Lowney took part in creating all the recipes, and each recipe has been influenced by feedback from family and friends. The end result is a bottle made with LOVE, full of vitamins, nutrients, and phytonutrients. Enjoy!
