Local leaders were celebrated as part of the inaugural Amplify LatinX 100 Local Latinx Leaders list, a recognition by Amplify LatinX that honors individuals known as amplifiers from various professions, industries, and advocacy groups. Released on September 15 to coincide with the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the list includes honorees such as Mabelyn Lopez, owner of 4 Insurance; Ivanna Solano, founder and executive director of Love Your Magic; and Carolina Trujillo, all from Lynn. Trujillo serves as the executive director of Citizens Inn of Peabody and a consultant to La Voz, Essex Media Group’s Spanish-language newspaper. Solano, born in the Dominican Republic and now director of Boston programs at Girls Inc., founded Love Your Magic to empower Black and Brown girls. Meanwhile, Lopez, a first-generation American, founded 4 Insurance in 2021, earning recognition from the North Shore Latino Business Association. State Rep. Manny Cruz of Salem, representing the 7th Essex district, was also honored as part of the Amplify LatinX 100 Local Latinx Leaders list. The awardees, recognized for their achievements and community impact, contribute to positive change and inspire a brighter future.
