PowerUp is a Latinx-led, collaborative initiative focused on increasing connectivity for business owners, business growth, access to resources and other economic opportunity for Latinx-owned businesses. Our website connects businesses, partners and customers by fostering visibility for Latinx-owned businesses and facilitating connections to existing resources.
PowerUp can be used by businesses, partners and customers. As a Latinx owned business you can create a business profile to highlight your products and services. Users can search listings by name, location and category to find businesses on the platform, and can connect to them via the site. Users can also provide reviews on the businesses listed in the site. Resource partners are also invited to join the site in order to promote their programs, events and resources that promote business growth. The goal of our website is to be a digital connector, convener for Latinx-owned businesses and brands.
Operating, incorporated businesses that are at least 51 percent Latino owned and led can create a listing. Independent contractors or licensees who work for agencies or are part of corporations that are not Latino owned, are not eligible.
You can join the PowerUp community by creating a free business listing. We encourage you to use high quality professional images that best portray your brand, products and services along with a vectored logo.
Once you have joined the PowerUp community and have both created and submitted your profile, we will verify your business before approving it and listing it in the site. This process can take 3 to 5 business days. If you’re still not seeing your business listed on our platform, please contact us here.
